第6戰在主場失利，騎士將總冠軍拱手讓給勇士！
賽後，騎士主帥布拉特（David Blatt）出席記者會表示：「失敗讓人很難接受，更難以接受的是系列賽已經到此結束。並不是所有故事都會有個快樂的結局，但不代表這是一個不好的故事。」
洛夫（Kevin Love）早早傷退，厄文（Kyrie Irving）總決賽第2戰後賽季報銷，三巨頭剩下詹姆斯（LeBron James），他憑藉著自己的能力，帶領全隊艱難前進，雙拳難敵四手。
詹姆斯在賽後記者會說：「我不想說什麼，這是我總決賽上的第四次失利，輸球讓我非常難受，我本來可以做更多，但是我沒有。」
總結這個系列賽的失利，詹姆斯說：「我不知道有任何的球員，沒有兩名以上全明星球員就奪得總冠軍的，我們的天賦用光了。」詹姆斯繼續說：「我們從來沒有放棄過比賽，直到時間到了0秒，比賽才真正結束。」
布拉特評價詹姆斯說：「他非常的偉大，給了我太多太多方面的支持。」
現在，詹姆斯只能把希望放在未來，「這個賽季我們有過很多成就，但對我來說錯失總冠軍不等於失敗。我們還宜蘭英文家教老師要繼續我們的工作。」
